Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters suitable for motors up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate for the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage, ensuring to check if it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for a current (amps) higher than the FLA. For control power, select either a direct-online starter where line power serves as control power, or a separate control voltage option. Additionally, there are options for remote start terminals if the starter needs to be activated from an external switch. The starter features a 26A 3-phase separate coil voltage, remote start terminals with start/stop functionality, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, and a 13-16A overload relay, all housed in a durable NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
