Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters suitable for motors up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor nameplate, ensuring to confirm whether the power supply is single-phase or three-phase, and choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA. Additionally, select the control power for closing the contactor and choose an overload that includes the motor's FLA in its current range. The available options include incoming power configurations, with direct-online starters using line power as control power, separate control voltage configurations, or options for remote start terminals which allow activation from an external switch. The motor starter features include a 26A rating, three-phase operation, remote start terminals, a start/stop function, a coil voltage range of 250-500V AC/DC, and a 24-29A overload rating.
