To select the appropriate starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the supplied input voltage, confirming if it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. It is essential to choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of the motor. Additionally, select the control power used to close the contactor and choose the overload by selecting a current range that encompasses the motor's FLA. Options available for selection include incoming power configurations such as "Direct-Online Starter" for using line power as control power, "Separate Control Voltage" for different line and control voltages, and "Remote Start Terminals" for external switch activation. The motor starter features include a 26A 3-phase separate coil voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, and a 13-16A overload.
