Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60 hp or 80 A. Assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, and confirm whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA of your motor, select the control power used to close the contactor, and choose the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA of the motor. Consider additional optional criteria such as incoming power, control power alignment, and the need for remote start terminals. Key features of the motor starter include a current rating of 26 A, three-phase operation, remote start terminals, a reset button only, a 250-500 V AC/DC coil, and overload protection rated at 16-20 A, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
