To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor nameplate, ensuring to confirm whether the motor operates on 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter with a current rating higher than the FLA, select the control power for closing the contactor, and pick an overload relay that accommodates the motor's FLA. Additionally, options include a direct-online starter if line power is used as control power, separate control voltage if different from line voltage, and remote start terminals for activation via an external switch. The features of the kit include a control voltage of 24-60V AC/DC, a 26A 1-phase configuration, and remote start terminals along with a 20-24A overload relay, all housed in a durable NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
