Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60 HP or 80 A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage from the motor or equipment nameplate, ensuring to confirm if it is single-phase or three-phase power. The starter should be rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. Choose the control power used to close the contactor and select the overload by finding a current range that includes the FLA. Optional criteria for selection include the incoming power configuration: direct-online starter if line power is used as the control power, separate control voltage if line and control voltages differ, or remote start terminals for activation from an external switch. Features include a rating of 26 A, 1 phase, remote start terminals, start/stop function, a coil voltage range of 100-250 V AC/DC, a 10-13 A overload, and NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
