Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage supplied, ensuring confirmation of whether the power is 1-phase or 3-phase. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) above the FLA of your motor. The control power used to close the contactor and the overload must be selected according to a current range that contains the FLA determined previously. Additionally, consider the incoming power: "direct-online starter" if line power serves as control power, "separate control voltage" if the control voltage differs from line voltage, and "remote start terminals" if activation from an external switch is required. The kit features a 26A 1 phase separate control voltage with a reset button, a 24-60V AC/DC coil, and a 24-29A overload relay within a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
