Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters designed for applications up to 60HP or 80A. Each assembled motor starter includes a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure, ensuring durability and reliability. To select the appropriate starter, verify the motor's full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage and confirm if it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA, select the control power for the contactor, and pick the overload relay based on a current range that encompasses the FLA. The incoming power can be classified as a "direct-online starter" if line power is used for control, or "separate control voltage" if they differ. For activation from an external switch, the starter can be equipped with "remote start terminals." In terms of specifications, the starter features a 38A capacity, supports 3-phase operation, functions as a direct online starter, requires start/stop control, has a coil rated between 250-500V AC/DC, and an overload relay range of 29-35A.
