Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters, with ratings up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage and confirm whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA of the motor and select the control power used to close the contactor. The overload should be chosen from a current range that contains the motor's FLA. Optional criteria for selection include incoming power options such as "direct-online starter," "separate control voltage," and "remote start terminals" for activation from an external switch. The starter features include a 26A rating, 1-phase separate control voltage, remote start terminals, a reset button, a coil voltage of 24-60V AC/DC, and a 20-24A overload, all within a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
