Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters suitable for applications up to 60HP or 80A. Each assembled motor starter consists of a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor or equipment nameplate as well as the input voltage, ensuring compatibility with single-phase or three-phase power. The starter should be rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA. The control power used to close the contactor must also be determined, along with an overload setting that encompasses the motor's FLA. Additional options include the incoming power type, which can be either a "direct-online starter," "separate control voltage," or configurations with "remote start terminals" for activation from an external switch. This starter features a 38A rating, operates on 3-phase power, includes remote start terminals, has a reset button only, supports a coil voltage of 100-250V AC/DC, and is equipped with a 24-29A overload relay, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
