Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters with ratings up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor or equipment nameplate at the input voltage, ensuring to confirm whether the motor operates on single-phase or three-phase power. Select a starter rated for a current (amps) higher than the FLA. The control power used to close the contactor must be chosen, followed by selecting the overload by identifying a current range that encompasses the motor's FLA. The kit features a 38A rating, operates on three-phase power, includes separate control voltage and remote start terminals, and supports start/stop functionality. The coil operates at 24-60V AC/DC, and the overload relay ranges from 16-20A. The product is housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure, providing durability and protection in various environments.
