Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters suitable for applications up to 60HP or 80A. These assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. Each starter can be selected based on several criteria starting with verifying the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage from the motor or equipment nameplate, ensuring the correct phase power, and choosing a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of the motor. Additionally, control power options are available, with choices for a direct-online starter or separate control voltage, as well as the option for remote start terminals if external switch activation is required. This specific model features a 38A rating, 3-phase configuration, remote start terminals, a reset button, a coil rated for 250-500V AC/DC, and an overload range of 20-24A.
