Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters with capabilities up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. When selecting the appropriate starter, it is essential to refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage to be supplied, confirming whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. The starter should be rated for a current (amps) higher than the FLA of the motor. Control power options include using line power as control power (direct-online starter) or a separate control voltage if different from line voltage. Additionally, the starter can be activated from an external switch via remote start terminals. The features include a 38A 3-phase separate coil voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button, a coil voltage range of 100-250V AC/DC, and a 20-24A overload relay, all within a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
