Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters capable of handling loads up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate for the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage, confirming whether it operates on 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter with a current rating higher than the FLA and select the control power for closing the contactor. The overload must be chosen based on a current range containing the FLA. The starter can be configured as a Direct-On-Line starter, Separate Control Voltage, or with Remote Start Terminals for external activation, with options to combine Separate Control Voltage and Remote Start Terminals. The specific attributes of this starter include a rating of 38A, 1-phase operation, separate control voltage, and start/stop functionality, utilizing a 24-60V AC/DC coil with an overload range of 24-29A.
