Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters suitable for applications up to 60 HP or 80 A. Each assembled motor starter includes a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure, ensuring durability and protection in various environments. To select the appropriate starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage and identify whether the power supply is single-phase or three-phase. Choose a starter with a current rating higher than the FLA, then select the control power for the contactor and the overload based on a current range that encompasses the FLA. The starter can be configured with optional features including direct-online or separate control voltage, and can accommodate remote start terminals for external switch activation. Key features include 52 A three-phase remote start terminals, a reset button, a coil rating of 250-500 V AC/DC, and an overload range of 36-47 A.
