Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage from the motor or equipment nameplate, confirming whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor and select the control power used to close the contactor. The overload should be chosen from a current range that includes the FLA of the motor. Optional criteria for selection include incoming power types such as "direct-online starter" when line power is used as control power, or "separate control voltage" for differing line and control voltages, which may include "remote start terminals" for external switch activation. The motor starter features include a current rating of 52A, compatibility with 1-phase power, separate coil voltage with remote start terminals, start/stop functionality, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, and a 25-33A overload relay, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
