Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, and confirm whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power to the motor, choosing a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. Choose the control power used to close the contactor and select the overload by picking a current range that contains the FLA of the motor. The selection can also consider incoming power options such as "direct-online starter" if line power is used as the control power, "separate control voltage" if the control voltage differs from line voltage, and "remote start terminals" if activation from an external switch is needed. Features include a rating of 65A for 3-phase with a separate coil voltage, a reset button, a 250-500V AC/DC coil, and an overload range of 57-67A, all within a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
