The assembled motor starters include a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor or equipment nameplate, ensuring to confirm if it's 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA. Next, select the control power used to close the contactor and then choose the overload based on the current range including the FLA. Optional criteria include incoming power configuration, such as direct-online starters, separate control voltage, and remote start terminals, accommodating various activation methods. This specific model features a 65A rating, is designed for 3-phase applications, includes separate control voltage and remote start terminals, a reset button, a 24-60V AC/DC coil, and an overload relay rated for 57-67A, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
