Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters suitable for motors up to 60HP or 80A. Each assembled starter includes a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor nameplate and confirm whether the motor operates on single-phase or three-phase power. The selected starter must be rated for a current higher than the FLA. Additionally, choose the control power used to close the contactor and select an overload relay within a current range that covers the FLA identified. Optional features include direct-online configurations with incoming power used as control power, separate control voltage setups, or remote start terminals for external switch activation. The specific model features a 65A rating, is designed for single-phase applications, has a separate coil voltage with remote start terminals, includes a reset button, accommodates a 100-250V AC/DC coil, features an overload range of 57-67A, and is housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
