Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, it is essential to refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage supplied, confirming whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. The chosen starter should be rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of the motor. Control power options include direct-online starter configurations, separate control voltage, or remote start terminals for activation from an external switch. The kit features an 80A 3-phase configuration with separate control voltage and remote start terminals, a reset button, a 24-60V AC/DC coil, and an overload range of 65-78A, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
