Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters designed for applications up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor or equipment nameplate at the input voltage, confirming whether the motor operates on single-phase or three-phase power. It is essential to choose a starter rated for a current higher than the FLA. The control power required to close the contactor must also be selected, along with an overload relay that accommodates the FLA. Optional criteria for selection include incoming power type, either direct-online or separate control voltage, with provisions for remote start terminals if necessary. This kit features an 80A rating, supports 1 phase, incorporates a separate control voltage with remote start terminals, includes a reset button, and operates with a 24-60V AC/DC coil, featuring a 57-68A overload protection. The NEMA 4X poly enclosure provides enhanced durability and protection in harsh environments.
