Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A, designed for various applications. Each assembled motor starter includes a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) based on the input voltage supplied, and confirm whether the motor operates on single-phase or three-phase power. The starter must be rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of the motor. The kit features an 80A rating suitable for single-phase operation, an option for separate coil voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, and an overload relay rated at 48-60A. The enclosure adheres to NEMA 4X standards, ensuring durability in various environments. The control power options include direct-online starter configurations, separate control voltage, and remote start terminals that accommodate different voltage needs for line and control power.
