Accuris DNA quantification kits are designed for accurate fluorescent quantification of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) using instruments such as the Qubit, SmartDrop™ XF, and microplate readers. The reagents are highly selective for dsDNA, ensuring that quantification results are not affected by single-stranded DNA (ssDNA), RNA, protein, or nucleotides in a sample. Each kit includes a concentrated fluorescent assay reagent, dilution buffer, and ready-to-use DNA standards. The assay reagent is diluted with the provided buffer, and a sample volume of 1 µL to 20 µL is added to determine the concentration using a fluorometer that utilizes blue excitation (460 ± 20 nm) and measures green fluorescence (525-570 nm). The Accuris high sensitivity kit accurately quantifies low concentration dsDNA samples, with reliable results for initial DNA sample concentrations ranging from 0.005 to 120 ng/µL, and a detection range of 0.1 to 120 ng.
