These autoclaveable desiccators are constructed from polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC), and can be autoclaved at 120°C for 15 minutes. The top dome, made from rigid and transparent polycarbonate, provides a crystal-clear view of the samples contained within. A knurled knob on the top allows for easy handling of the dome, while the lower portion is composed of polypropylene. An internal groove on the flange accommodates a silicone rubber O-ring, and it is recommended that vacuum grease be applied to the flanges to ensure an air-tight seal.
