These autoclaveable desiccators are constructed from polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC), capable of maintaining a vacuum of up to 740 mm Hg for 24 hours without greasing. They can be autoclaved at 120°C for 15 minutes. The top dome, made from rigid and transparent PC, offers a crystal-clear view of the samples, while the knurled knob facilitates easy handling. The transparent PC bottom enhances viewing clarity, and an internal groove on the flange accommodates the silicon rubber O-ring. The kit includes a perforated PP desiccator plate, and the PP stopcock features a self-lubricating PTFE plug. This three-way plug can be opened to create a vacuum, closed to hold a vacuum, and opened again to release a vacuum.
