The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet add-on units provide versatility for warehouses that handle a wide variety of product types. This pre-configured add-on unit includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels. The uprights and beams are manufactured from high-strength steel along with other quality raw materials. The tear drop perforations on the face of the upright column allow for shelf adjustment at 2-inch increments, while standard, pre-punched footplates enable easy anchoring. These add-on units undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, which offers anti-corrosion protection, even layer thickness on all items, and enhanced durability against everyday wear and tear in warehouse environments. The orange pallet rack beams feature a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, providing protection against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof piston lock system prevents disengagement during use, and the 1 - 5/8-inch step within the beams allows for the addition of wire decking and other accessories.
