The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet starter units provide versatility for warehouses that handle a wide variety of product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The uprights and beams are manufactured from high-strength steel and other quality raw materials. Tear drop perforations on the face of the upright column allow for shelf adjustment at 2-inch increments, while standard, pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The add-on unit features a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, providing anti-corrosion protection, even layer thickness, and great wear resistance suited for warehouse environments. The orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, protecting against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof piston lock system prevents disengagement during use, and the 1 - 5/8-inch step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. The assembly process is straightforward, and the Interlake Mecalux bolted pallet rack tear drop starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
