The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet starter units are designed for warehouses accommodating a diverse range of product types. Each pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The uprights and beams are constructed from high-strength steel and quality raw materials, featuring tear drop perforations for shelf adjustment at 2" increments and standard pre-punched footplates for easy anchoring. These units undergo a cataphoresis paint process that enhances anti-corrosion protection and ensures uniform layer thickness, providing excellent wear resistance in warehouse settings. The orange pallet rack beams incorporate a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, preventing accidental beam displacement; this system is also damage and tamper-proof. The beams include a 1 - 5/8" step that allows for the addition of wire decking and various accessories. The assembly process is straightforward, and these starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI), ensuring compliance with industry standards.
