The Eagle® 30-gallon lab pack/open head drum is constructed from yellow blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, ensuring durability and lightweight characteristics while being weather and chemical resistant. It features a white lid with a plastic lever-lock band closure, making it ideal for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as for spill containment, cleanup, original shipping, bio waste disposal, and incineration. This lab pack/open head drum is designed for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials; if utilized with leaking materials, it must be packed with sufficient sorbents and contain no free liquids. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards, and it has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions measure 19 inches (48.5 cm) at the top, 16-1/4 inches (41.3 cm) at the bottom, and 26-3/8 inches (67 cm) in height.
