The Eagle® 30 gallon lab pack/open head drum is designed with blue blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) featuring UV inhibitors, ensuring durability and lightweight performance while being resistant to weather and chemicals. It comes with a white lid secured by a plastic lever-lock band closure, making it suitable for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as for spill containment and cleanup, original shipping container use, bio waste disposal, and incineration. This lab pack/open head drum is specifically for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials. In cases involving leaking containers, it is essential to include sufficient sorbents and ensure no free liquids are present. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality, and has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions are 19 inches (48.5 cm) at the top, 16-1/4 inches (41.3 cm) at the bottom, and stands 26-3/8 inches (67 cm) high.
