The Eagle® 14 gallon lab pack/open head drum is constructed of blue blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, providing a durable and lightweight solution that is weather and chemical resistant. It features a white lid with a plastic lever-lock band closure, making it ideal for safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as spill containment and cleanup. This drum can be used as an original shipping container for bio waste disposal and incineration. Key features include suitability for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials, while ensuring that leaking containers must be packed with sufficient sorbents to avoid free liquids. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards, and has a UL 94HB flammability rating. Its interior dimensions are 13-1/2" (34.3 cm) at the top, 12-3/8" (31.4 cm) at the bottom, and a height of 25" (63.5 cm).
