The Eagle® 14-gallon lab pack/open head drum is made from black blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that includes UV inhibitors, making it durable, lightweight, and resistant to weather and chemicals. The drum features a white lid secured with a metal lever-lock band closure, ensuring safe storage and transport of hazardous materials. It is designed for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials, and if utilized with leaking containers, it must be packed with sufficient sorbents without free liquids present. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 for food-grade quality, and holds a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions of the drum are 13-1/2" (34.3 cm) at the top, 12-3/8" (31.4 cm) at the bottom, and a height of 25" (63.5 cm).
