The Eagle® 10 gallon lab pack/open head drum is made from durable black blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, offering weather and chemical resistance while remaining lightweight. It features a white lid secured by a plastic lever-lock band closure, making it suitable for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, including spill containment, cleanup initiatives, original shipping, and bio waste disposal and incineration. The drum boasts nestable storage to optimize shipping and storage space and has an operating temperature range of -30° F to 130° F. It is drop tested for a maximum weight at 0° F (48 hours) and is designed for use with smaller, non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and non-leaking hazardous materials; when used with leaking containers, sufficient sorbents must be included, and no free liquids are permitted. Additionally, it complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards, and has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions are 14-1/8" (35.9 cm) at the top, 12-3/8" (31.4 cm) at the bottom, and a height of 18" (45.7 cm).
