The Eagle® 10 gallon lab pack/open head drum is constructed of yellow blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, providing a durable, lightweight, weather, and chemical-resistant solution for safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials. It features a white lid with a metal lever-lock band closure, making it suitable for spill containment and cleanup of hazardous materials, original shipping container, and bio waste disposal and incineration. The drum offers nestable storage to optimize shipping and storage space and is designed to operate within a temperature range of -30° F to 130° F. It is drop tested for maximum weight at 0° F over 48 hours and is intended for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and non-leaking hazardous materials. However, when used with leaking containers, it must be packed with sufficient sorbents and should contain no free liquids. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality, and has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions of the drum are 14-1/8" (35.9 cm) at the top, 12-3/8" (31.4 cm) at the bottom, and a height of 18" (45.7 cm).
