The Eagle® 10 gallon lab pack/open head drum is made from yellow blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, ensuring it is durable, lightweight, weather-resistant, and chemical-resistant. It features a white lid with a plastic lever-lock band closure, making it ideal for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as for spill containment, cleanup of hazardous materials, original shipping container use, bio waste disposal, and incineration. The drum includes nestable storage to optimize shipping and storage space, operates within a temperature range of -30° F to 130° F, and is drop tested to support a maximum weight at 0° F for 48 hours. Designed for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and non-leaking hazardous materials, it requires sufficient sorbents if used with leaking containers to avoid free liquids. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards, and it has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions are 14-1/8" (35.9 cm) at the top, 12-3/8" (31.4 cm) at the bottom, and 18" (45.7 cm) in height.
