The Eagle® 20 gallon lab pack/open head drum is constructed of yellow blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, offering durability and lightweight properties while being weather and chemical resistant. It features a white lid with a plastic lever-lock band closure, making it ideal for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as for spill containment and cleanup of hazardous materials, serving as an original shipping container, and for bio waste disposal and incineration. This drum is specifically designed for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials; if used with leaking containers, sufficient sorbents must be included, and no free liquids are allowed. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 for food grade quality, and it has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions are 15-3/8" (39cm) at the top, 12-7/8" (32.7cm) at the bottom, and a height of 29-7/8" (75.9cm).
