The Eagle® 20 gallon lab pack/open head drum is constructed of yellow blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, offering durability and lightweight characteristics while being weather and chemical resistant. This drum features a white lid with a plastic lever-lock band closure, making it ideal for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as spill containment and cleanup. It serves as an original shipping container for bio waste disposal and incineration. This lab pack is designed for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials; if used with leaking containers, it must be packed with sufficient sorbents and should contain no free liquids. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards, and has a UL 94HB flammability rating. Its interior dimensions measure 19" (48.3 cm) at the top, 16-5/16" (41.4 cm) at the bottom, and 19" (48.3 cm) in height.
