The Eagle® 30 gallon lab pack drum is designed from durable brown blow-molded, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, ensuring it is lightweight, weather and chemical resistant, and features a secure screw-on lid for safe storage. This drum is ideal for the safe handling and transportation of hazardous materials, spill containment, and cleanup, serving as an original shipping container and for bio waste disposal and incineration. It accommodates smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials, but when used with leaking containers, it requires packing with sufficient sorbents to prevent free liquids. The drum meets several certifications and compliance standards, including DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality, and it boasts a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions are 19-7/8" (50.5 cm) at the top, 16-1/4" (41.3 cm) at the bottom, and a height of 28-1/4" (71.8 cm).
