The Eagle® 30 gallon lab pack/open head drum is constructed of yellow blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, providing durability and lightweight properties while being weather and chemical resistant. It features a white lid with a metal lever-lock band closure, making it ideal for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as spill containment and cleanup, serving as an original shipping container, and facilitating bio waste disposal and incineration. This lab pack/open head drum is designed for use with smaller, non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials; if used with leaking containers, it must be packed with sufficient sorbents with no free liquids present. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards, and has a UL 94HB flammability rating. Its interior dimensions are 19" (48.5cm) at the top, 16-1/4" (41.3cm) at the bottom, and 26-3/8" (67cm) in height.
