The Eagle® 30 gallon lab pack/open head drum is constructed of blue blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, making it durable and lightweight, as well as weather and chemical resistant. The drum features a white lid with a metal lever-lock band closure, making it ideal for safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, spill containment and cleanup, original shipping container usage, as well as bio waste disposal and incineration. It is designed for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials; if used with leaking containers, it must be packed with sufficient sorbents and contain no free liquids. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards, and it has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions are 19" (48.5cm) at the top, 16-1/4" (41.3cm) at the bottom, and 26-3/8" (67cm) in height.
