The Eagle® 30 gallon lab pack/open head drum is designed for secure storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials. Constructed from black blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, this drum is both durable and lightweight, making it resistant to weather and chemicals. It features a white lid secured with a metal lever-lock band closure. This drum is ideal for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials; however, if used with leaking containers, they must be packed with sufficient sorbents to ensure there are no free liquids. The product complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards, and it has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions of the drum are 19" (48.5 cm) at the top, 16-1/4" (41.3 cm) at the bottom, and it has a height of 26-3/8" (67 cm).
