The Eagle® 30 gallon lab pack/open head drum is made from red blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, providing durability and light weight while being resistant to weather and chemicals. It features a white lid secured with a plastic lever-lock band closure, making it suitable for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as for spill containment and cleanup. This drum is ideal for use with smaller, non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials; if used with leaking containers, it must be packed with sufficient sorbents and contain no free liquids. It complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards, and has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions are 19" (48.5 cm) at the top, 16-1/4" (41.3 cm) at the bottom, and 26-3/8" (67 cm) in height.
