The Eagle® 10 gallon lab pack/open head drum is made from blue blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) featuring UV inhibitors, ensuring it is durable and lightweight while being resistant to weather and chemicals. It comes equipped with a white lid secured by a plastic lever-lock band closure, making it ideal for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as spill containment and cleanup, original shipping container use, and bio-waste disposal and incineration. Key features include nestable storage to maximize shipping and storage efficiency, an operating temperature range of -30° F to 130° F, and a drop tested maximum weight at 0° F for 48 hours. This lab pack/open head drum is designed for use with smaller, non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and non-leaking hazardous materials; when used with leaking containers, sufficient sorbents must be included to ensure no free liquids are present. It complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 for food-grade quality, and has a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions are 14-1/8" (35.9 cm) at the top and 12-3/8" (31.4 cm) at the bottom, with a height of 18" (45.7 cm).
