The Eagle® 20 gallon lab pack/open head drum is meticulously constructed from yellow blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) featuring UV inhibitors, offering a durable and lightweight solution that is weather and chemical resistant. This drum is equipped with a white lid and a metal lever-lock band closure, making it ideal for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, as well as for spill containment, cleanup, and original shipping containers, along with bio waste disposal and incineration. Designed specifically for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials, it requires sufficient sorbents if used with leaking materials, ensuring no free liquids remain. The drum complies with DOT 49 CFR 173.12 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality standards and possesses a UL 94HB flammability rating. The interior dimensions measure 15-3/8" (39cm) at the top, 12-7/8" (32.7cm) at the bottom, and a height of 29-7/8" (75.9cm).
