The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, providing easy access to tight spaces with up to 3/4" shorter tool length when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. These DXS® direct drive sockets fit tighter and offer more load bearing surface than traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners to reduce fastener rounding. The sets come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for efficient storage and are compatible with DXS2™ drive impact tools. Constructed from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability, these sockets feature a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion and meet or exceed ASME specifications. A square retention pin conversion kit is also available for a secure connection, and the product is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
