The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, providing enhanced performance with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches by offering up to 3/4" shorter tool length for easier access in tight spaces. The DXS® direct drive sockets feature a design that fits tighter and has a larger load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6-point hex corners to help reduce fastener rounding. Each set includes an EVA foam shadow board organizer for effective storage and is compatible with DXS2™ drive impact tools. The sockets are constructed from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel, which ensures exceptional strength and durability, and are finished with manganese phosphate to resist corrosion. These products meet or exceed ASME specifications and a square retention pin conversion kit is available for a secure connection.
