The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, offering easier access into tight spaces with up to 3/4" shorter tool length when paired with Ingersoll Rand® DXS™ impact wrenches. These DXS™ direct drive sockets provide a tighter fit and increased load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. The sockets feature a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser-etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6-point hex corners to help minimize fastener rounding. Each set includes an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and is designed for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. These sockets are made from chrome molybdenum (CR-MO) alloy steel, ensuring exceptional strength and durability, and are finished with manganese phosphate to resist corrosion.
