Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to eliminate power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, providing improved access in tight spaces with a tool length that is up to 3/4" shorter when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. These DXS® direct drive sockets offer a tighter fit and greater load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6-point hex corners to minimize fastener rounding. Each set includes an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and is intended for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. The sockets are constructed from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel to ensure exceptional strength and durability and are coated with a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion.
