DXS® direct drive sockets offer a tighter fit and increased load bearing surface to achieve up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners to minimize fastener rounding. The sets come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and are compatible with DXS2™ drive impact tools. They are constructed from chrome molybdenum (CR-MO) alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability, featuring a manganese phosphate finish for corrosion resistance.
