The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, offering easier access into tight spaces with up to 3/4" shorter tool length when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. The DXS® direct drive sockets feature a tighter fit and a larger load bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and 20% longer wear life. Notable attributes include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners to help reduce fastener rounding. The sets come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and are designed for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. They are constructed from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability, finished with manganese phosphate to resist corrosion, and meet or exceed ASME specifications. Additionally, a square retention pin conversion kit is available for a secure connection, and the products are backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
